Sunday Welcome Reception
Arrive on Sunday to join pool and QEI Patron attendees for this kickoff event. This late afternoon event will give you the chance to try your hand (and feet!) at a range of Olympic sports including curling, downhill skiing and snowboarding.

Monday Opening Keynote
As pools prepare for and build relationships with local entity members experiencing high staff turnover, the time is right to think about how to improve, maintain and deliver member experiences that matter. Opening keynote speaker Jay Baer, a customer experience researcher and analyst, will energize and engage attendees with practical and concrete steps pools can take right now to respond to changing member expectations, insight into why expectations are changing and ideas for how to align pool and member service expectations.

[SOLD OUT] Brewery Tour Tasting and BBQ ($95 per member attendee)
Pre-registered pool member and QEI Patron attendees, and their guests, will join colleagues for tastings at two Salt Lake City breweries, a behind-the-scenes tour of one brewery and a BBQ dinner. Don’t miss this fun event to close out your Staff Forum experience!

$ource Game
Attendees from member pools will improve and test understanding of pool operations and financial outcomes in a fun way that delivers real-time feedback. $ource Game is a pool simulation in which players make a series of team-based decisions to understand the impact on a fictitious pool’s balance sheets, income statements and overall performance.

Sign up to play in a beginner or advanced game, based on years of pooling experience (4 or more years qualifies for advanced). Players will meet multiple times during the event. There is no charge to participate, but pre-registration is required.
